We are pleased to offer on behalf of one of our clients this very cool Ford Mustang Coupe.
The first-generation Ford Mustang was manufactured by Ford from March 1964 until 1973. The introduction of the Mustang created a new class of automobile known as the pony car. The Mustang’s styling, with its long hood and short deck, proved wildly popular and inspired a host of competition.
It was initially introduced on April 17, 1964, as a hardtop and convertible with the fastback version put on sale in August 1964. At the time of its introduction, the Mustang, sharing its underpinnings with the Falcon, was slotted into a compact car segment.
Our example is a 65 Coupe A-code 289 V8 car, that was built in April of 1965 in the San Jose plant and lived all of its life in sunny California.
Finished in rare and beautiful Tropical Turqoise, the car is mainly un-restored and original aside from a paint job in the 1980’s. It runs and drives excellent and the 289 V8 is creating the perfect sound out of its dual exhaust system.
A very attractive driver and perfect for a cruise on those nice country backroads.
Please study all the photos closely to evaluate the condition of this car! A short walk around video of the running truck is available upon request.
